Motorscan Cable Finder

1. If the cable required includes “051”, this requires that you use the Battery Cable, included in the Kit when using the required cable for this application.

2. If the cable required includes “M”, this requires that you use the Master Cable, included in the Kit when using the required cable for this application.

3. If the cable required includes “522”, this requires that you use the Universal Cable, included in the Kit, when using the required cable for this application.

4. If the cable required indicates “ON”, this requires that you need to switch on the device and select the brand, the system, and finally the vehicle. You don’t need to connect the 6050 to the vehicle because the specific system on the vehicle has onboard diagnostics. In this case, the 6050 helps you with the instruction for activating the onboard diagnostics and sometimes for decoding the blinking light or fault codes displayed on the dash.

5. Please always read the User Manual to learn correctly how to connect the OEM-level connector cables, and the Master, Universal, and Battery Cables.
